“Dream Day” it’s a holiday where you pick one of your life long goals and you finally do everything you said you were gonna do for it and just do it. You would sit at a cafe, open your computer, and start that stand up comedy special/sketchshow/storytelling/tiktok channel/book review club, and nothing would stand in your way. (I guess Dream Day should be everyday but alas, my catering shift calls)

My friend had a trampoline. My neighbor Midge, a really friendly grandma, had a dog, Olive. I really loved being outside and jumping so high because it felt like the closest thing to flying. And I also loved playing with the dog because I didn’t have my own, and Midge was the friendliest grandma. She would tell my brother and the other kids stories about life and feed us some leftover baked goods. She also had a beautiful garden in her backyard, so it was really cool to see what new vegetable and plants flourished week after week.

Strawberry syllabub is light and boozy (life goals).

Jumping in a car with a stranger in pursuit of a girl. This has happened twice. The first time I felt exhilarated and anxious. The second time I felt nervous, with a sense of impending doom.

My mom managed to get her hands on a replica of a 2D ceramic imitation of my Kindergarten in the Dominican Republic and she sent it to me as a surprise for my birthday and I broke down into tears. I was so moved by the gesture and the wonderful memories that it triggered.

A stingray (which is actually what I’m shooting for in my next life) seems peaceful - it’s like flying, which I hate, but better, and I feel like there’s a strong community vibe with those guys.

Steve was ultimately a great addition to the family.  Even though he burned down the shed we always have a great time playing Settlers of Catan.

Being absolutely stupid in the most brilliant connected way with people I love.

When I was 20 and battling a deep depression I travelled around the UK with two of my good friends, taking boats, trains and cars and even hiked a rainy mountain in Wales. Everyday exposing myself to a new place/people that I physically got myself too coupled with the complete uncertainty of what tomorrow would be. Felt like a rebirth, absolute freedom.

The “Look Around Buddy” You must engage in one conversation with a stranger everyday. You must find out their name and remember it. Human connection is so easy to find  - and it is necessary for you to know your neighbors.

Telekinesis. So I could be more lazy.
